Have you tried downloading our Yearbooks Desktop software from the links on the download page, but become frustrated when the zip file won’t unzip?

Books Desktop v14.01 Update for Windows – Now Available

We are pleased to announce that our first update to Books Desktop has been published today, May 1st, 2014. This is for both Mac OS and Windows – if you are looking for the Mac OS update click here.

Download “Books Update for Windows” Update_Books_1401_Windows.zip – Downloaded 1088 times – 19 MB

 

windows_8Installation Instructions:

  1. Begin by shutting down your copy of Books.
  2. Download the file by clicking the blue button above.
  3. The update is zipped, so you will need to view the contents of the .zip folder.
  4. Inside the zip file you will find “Update_Books_1401_Windows.exe“, double-click to launch the installer.
  5. Read the instructions carefully and wait for it to finish (approx. 20 seconds).
  6. That’s it! You have updated your copy of Books to the latest version available. You may now restart Yearbooks.

Download New Christmas Content

One of the great new features in this year’s edition of Yearbooks is the ability to download new packages of content from this website.  Every month we will be releasing new graphics that can be quickly imported into Yearbooks to add new clip-art, backgrounds, templates and cover images.   All of these images are provided for free to registered users, and are completely optional.  You can pick and choose the packages you wish to download and import, whether it is one package or all of them.

This month’s package contains, you guessed it, Christmas images!  This package includes 16 new clipart images, as well as 20 new backgrounds!  Here is a brief sample of what is included in this package.   You can download the package below.

Download Halloween Clipart and Nature Themed Backgrounds
